Hello! I'm Richard Franchimon.
After life decided to throw me a few curveballs, which resulted in me being unemployed and burned out. It was a Jim Carrey's quote that re-lit my (burnout friendly) fire.
"You can fail at what you don't want, so you might as well take a chance on doing what you love." - Jim Carrey
I decided to put the particular set of skills that I've acquired at jobs that depressed me, to use in the creative fields I've always loved but supressed, for a fake sense of safety.
I've always been addicted to the entertainment industry. Movies, TV, Music, Games, I enjoyed it all. Maybe a bit too much. Picked up a guitar at the age of 12, loved entertaining people. School presentations? Pick me! Jobs where I had to entertain groups? Yes, please! But it wasn't until my passion for film got the best of me, that I discovered what I wanted to do.
My curiosity about film making made want to do more editting and VFX. Just for fun. Just to see if I could make something entertaining. So I bought a cheap camera. And then, at the age of 25 I knew. I need to create, entertain & act.

Sometimes people create images that dont move. Weird, I know. But here they are.
Hosting, it's like acting. Pretending to know what I'm talking about.
